We recently spent a few days at the National Archives in the United States gathering photographs and charts from the US occupation of Vanuatu (New Hebrides) during the Second World War. We can provide you with a qualified dive master for your trip. Or, we can show you good diving and snorkeling spots. If you're interested in wrecks, coral or fish, we can point you in the right direction.
WWII History
Over 100,000 US troops were stationed in the New Hebrides during WWII. There are still many traces of their presence here today. We can help you plan a trip visiting sunken tanks and airplanes. We can also talk about diving the President Coolidge or Million Dollar Point.
Villages and Anchorages
We can help you choose anchorages that are safe and comfortable. Also, there are lots of villages to visit. Which are especially interesting and welcoming? Which have special ceremonies? Which villages have provisions to offer? Also we can assist with what you can bring to the villages to help ensure smooth interactions.
